Living The Quran

Living The Quran

Al Hikma Media presents….  ‘Living The Quran’

The Muslim community has become divorced from its Holy Scripture – Al Quran.

Some neglect the Quran – only picking it up during Ramadan or when someone dies.
A smaller number spend time reading verses upon verses and attempting to memorise chapters from the Quran.

How many of us actually understand the Quran and attempt to become a living manifestation of the Quran?

Has the Quran merely been sent for us to recite and not understand or enact within our lives?

Our beloved Prophet (saw) has been described as the ‘walking Quran.’ It’s time that we try to follow in his footsteps.

We invite you to an enlightening experience with an amazing line-up of speakers that can relate to the situation on the ground in the West. Come and learn how you can become the living manifestation of the glorious words that you recite.

Speakers: Shaykh Khalid ( USA ), Shaykh Hasan Ali ( London ) & Shaykh Nassir (Bham)

Date: Saturday 3rd April 2010 @6.15pm

Venue: Birmingham Central Masjid Day Care Centre (Downstairs Hall), 180 Belgrave Middleway, Highgate, Birmingham B12 0XS

Sisters & Brothers Welcome
