Weekly Classes (Sisters only)
For very new converts/ reverts only, a small friendly class held in the informal setting of a sisters house.
Learn to read the Arabic alphabet and begin to recite the Quran. Also learn how to do the basics, such as washing and prayer, as well as the rules pertaining to all of our actions (fiqh). There will also be a guest teacher, covering a spiritual text.

Knowledge Seekers Summer 2010 Islamic Studies Course

Week long intensive, combining traditional Islamic studies with contemporary issues and training (tarbiyyah) of our Islamic character. Subjects include, belief (aqeedah), Islamic law (fiqh), the philosophy of Islamic law (Usul al-Fiqh), sciences of the Quran and hadith, muslim character, the rules of Quran recitation (tajweed), the biography of the Prophet (seerah), Quranic Arabic, Islam in Britain, spiritual development (tazkiyah) and family life.
